Countdown to Extinction

Every year, the CCC hosts a Coastal Cleanup Day. To help spread the word we developed a campaign where we imagined trash as a collection of malevolent species. Complete with Latin classifications and species charts, audiences could easily identify the culprits that should be wiped from the Earth.

We continued the idea on social with a campaign titled “29 Days to Extinction”. Each day in the month leading up to the event, we introduced a new species with a post illustrating its dangers.

Pendulum

You either love or hate the Scion xB. In this spot we tried to embrace its polarizing nature and tell the world that it’s ok to make a statement with the car you drive.

Take on the Machine

In 2010 the tC was updated for superior performance and handling. To introduce the changes we took a cinematic approach and treated the campaign like the launch of a Hollywood blockbuster. We kicked off with a series of teaser ads, showing only glimpses of the all-new tC. For launch we ran a 60 second 3-D spot in cinemas that paired with in-lobby 3-D lenticular posters. We also created an augmented reality experience where gamers could virtually place their hands on the steering wheel of a tC and navigate around obstacles in a high-speed race for the fastest time. The site tracked and assigned bragging rights to the top 100 players.

Yup, More Scion

From some of the first ‘influencer’ plays in car advertising, to anthems, to just weird car porn.

Sophia Grows –

Because I love dog. I worked this personal project for over 3 years. So I wanted to make sure that it made its way around the Internet. The seeding strategy was simple; get it into the hands of the geeks, dog freaks, and connoisseurs of cute. Within two weeks the video had over 3 million hits on YouTube, earned ‘Magical’ status on Buzzfeed, and was featured on Mashable’s most viral videos of 2014. Gifs appeared on reddit (with over 4500 up-votes), imgur, and were all over tumblr.

They grow up fast. Like in 23 seconds.
